Mrs. Melody Anderson- PreK Aide

Melody has taught preschool age children for the past 33+ years. She made a change two years ago when her friend Jill (who was an aide for Melody) asked her to be an aide in her class here at St. Phil's. I just love it here! Working with children is my passion!She is married to David and has 3 children, with her youngest a high school senior and 8 grandchildren. She loves to garden, work in her yard, travel and spend time with family.


Mrs. Becky Legge- Kindergarten Aide

Mrs. Becky Legge started as a Scrip Volunteer. She then aided in the start up of our PreK back in 2012. She worked with Mrs. Hilstad for the first 4 years. She is now moved into the Kindergarten Room. Her husband is an alumni and their son attends St. Phil's. She loves to spend her free time doing art, playing with her dogs and travelling with her husband and son.


Mrs. Zeeni Thomson- Kindergarten Aide

Zeeni Thomson has been working with children for 42 years, much of that time as a Montessori teacher. Zeeni has worked on and off at St. Philomena School as an employee or volunteer for many years. She has a great love of teaching children. Her own children attended St. Philomena School. In her spare time she enjoys cooking Indian cuisine, quilting, knitting and entertaining friends and family. 


Mrs. Angie Mendez – First Grade Aid, Kids Club Director, and Recess Supervisor

Miss Angie has been a parent and/or an employee at St. Philomena for over 20 years. She and her husband, Gabby, sent their four children to St. Phil’s and have two grandchildren at St. Phil's. When Miss Angie isn’t busy helping everyone in the school she loves to read, get together with her prayer group, and spend time with her big family.

Mrs. Wendy Desotel- Third Grade Aide and Resource Teacher

Mrs. Desotel has been employed with Catholic Schools in the Seattle area since 1985. She is married and has an adult son who grew up in Catholic education from Kindergarten through high school. Mrs. Desotel has worked volunteering in her sons classrooms until she was hired to be an instructional aide. She worked as a resource teacher and aide for the past 19 years. Mrs. Desotel's favorite past time is reading and gardening.

Mr. Sam Morissette- Instructional Aide, Recess & Kids' Club

Mr. Sam Morissette has worked at St. Philomena School for the past seven years in Kids' Club, as an instructional aide and now as the PreK-2nd grade PE Teacher. He graduated from Fife High School where his favorite subject was English. He is certified in the Sparks PE program. He and his wife, Ashley, have been married for a year, He loves to play video games, read and watch sports. His favorite sport to watch is soccer and the Sounders are his favorite team. He is also a Yankees and Patriots fan and he loves his cat, Bronx.

Mrs. Pat Incrocci – Office Assistant

Mrs. Incrocci has been working at St. Philomena for 30 years. She and her husband, Gerry, sent their three boys to St. Philomena. When Mrs. Incrocci isn’t busy helping all the teachers in the building she loves to bowl and read.

Mrs. Ginny Hunt – Volunteer Library Coordinator

Mrs. Hunt began volunteering in the St. Phil’s library during the 1998-99 school year and she loves caring for our collection of over 7000 books. She and her husband, Mark, have four grown children and seven grandchildren. When she isn’t in the library, Mrs. Hunt loves being Grandma to Peter, Brigitta, Andrew, Caroline, James, Gabriel and John; being on her boat or on a beach; cooking; playing her piano; and working in her yard. She also swears that one of these days she is going to get her chops back in shape and start playing her French Horn again! Mrs. Hunt loves working in the library because she gets to be the first one to see all the new books, and because she loves to see kids get excited about good books and reading!

Mrs. Eileen Hamling- Hot Lunch Coordinator

Mrs. Hamling has been a part of the hot lunch program for the last 12 years. She and her husband, Steve, sent their 2 children through St. Phil’s. When Mrs. Hamling isn’t in the kitchen or running kids to their different activities, she enjoys working out, bowling and spending time with family and friends.

Derrin Walter – Maintenance

Mr. Walter has been at St. Phil’s for 20 years. He went to high school at Glacier. He and his wife, Patty, have three children: Shannon (29), Ryan (28), and Molly (25) all of whom are graduates of St. Philomena. When Mr. Walter isn’t busy fixing things around the church and school he can be tracked down in the wilderness catching fish and chasing deer.
