Mrs. Wendy Desotel- Third Grade Aide and Resource Teacher

Mrs. Desotel has been employed with Catholic Schools in the Seattle area since 1985. She is married and has an adult son who grew up in Catholic education from Kindergarten through high school. Mrs. Desotel has worked volunteering in her sons classrooms until she was hired to be an instructional aide. She worked as a resource teacher and aide for the past 19 years. Mrs. Desotel's favorite past time is reading and gardening.

Mrs. Carol Kane- Kindergarten Aide

Mrs. Kane has spent 30 + years teaching kindergarten in the Archdiocese of Seattle and "retired" last year (at least that was the plan). She was thrilled when a part time job came open in the Kindergarten at St. Philomena and she was able to join Mrs. Horn and Mrs. Desotel in a job that has been a joy and blessing in her life.

Mrs. Angie Mendez – First Grade Aid, Kids Club Director, and Recess Supervisor

Miss Angie has been a parent and/or an employee at St. Philomena for over 20 years. She and her husband, Gabby, sent their four children to St. Phil’s and have two grandchildren at St. Phil's. When Miss Angie isn’t busy helping everyone in the school she loves to read, get together with her prayer group, and spend time with her big family.

Mrs. Pat Incrocci – Teacher’s Assistant

Mrs. Incrocci has been working at St. Philomena for 30 years. She and her husband, Gerry, sent their three boys to St. Philomena. When Mrs. Incrocci isn’t busy helping all the teachers in the building she loves to bowl and read.

Mrs. Ginny Hunt – Volunteer Library Coordinator

Mrs. Hunt began volunteering in the St. Phil’s library during the 1998-99 school year and she loves caring for our collection of over 7000 books. She and her husband, Mark, have four grown children and five grandchildren. When she isn’t in the library, Mrs. Hunt loves being Grandma to Peter, Brigitta, Andrew, Caroline, and James; being on her boat or on a beach; cooking; playing her piano; and working in her yard. She also swears that one of these days she is going to get her chops back in shape and start playing her French Horn again! Mrs. Hunt loves working in the library because she gets to be the first one to see all the new books, and it’s so much fun to see kids get excited about books and reading!

Derin Walter – Maintenance

Mr. Walter has been at St. Phil’s for 10 years. He went to high school at Glacier. He and his wife, Patti, have three children: Shannon (24), Ryan (23), and Molly (19) all of whom are graduates of St. Philomena. When Mr. Walter isn’t busy fixing things around the church and school he can be tracked down in the wilderness catching fish and chasing deer.
