Pregnancy Aide Drive Starts

Starting Wednesday, Dec. 7th St. Philomena School is having a birthday party for baby Jesus. Each year St. Philomena School conducts a birthday party for baby Jesus in which we collect baby items for Pregnancy Aid. Pregnancy Aid is a service agency located right here in our Des Moines community. Their mission is to help pregnant women or young mothers. We are working together as a school to help them during this Advent season. The drive starts Dec. 7th and runs through Dec. 13th. Each class is asked to bring in a specific item. We are also asking the parishioners to help out. This is a great way to extend the true meaning of Advent to those in need.
Birthday for Baby Jesus for Pregnancy Aid (Dec. 7th- 13th, 2016)
· PreK & K- baby booties and socks
· 1st- baby blankets
· 2nd- baby clothes (sizes 0-24 months)
· 3rd- diapers/ointment (sizes 0-24 months)
· 4th- baby formula
· 5th- onesies (sizes 0-24 months)
· 6th- baby hats and mittens
· 7th- baby bibs
· 8th- baby food
· Faculty & Staff- baby shampoo, lotion and oil
