Are you looking for a way for your family to practice God's call to almsgiving this Lent? This is a great way to help our neighbors in need!

St. Philomena School is holding a LENTEN FOOD DRIVE CONTEST from Monday, March 5 through Friday, March 23 to benefit the St. Vincent de Paul Society who will deliver the food to our needy neighbors after Easter.

The class that brings the most individual items from the list (See attached flyer.) will be able to vote on their prize. The choices are: pizza lunch or ice cream sundae bar or non-uniform day or 30 minute extra recess.

All students in every classroom are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items from the list to donate. (All items will be accepted, but only those from the list will count toward the contest.) The acceptable items are listed below.

Thank you in advance for your continued generosity!
