Scrip
How it WorksSCRIP is another word for GIFT CERTIFICATE. Our school purchases these certificates at a discount, and then we resell them at face value. Think of it as a corporate sponsorship of our school. If you spend $20 in cash to purchase groceries at Safeway, THEY get $20. On the other hand, if you use $20 SCRIP for the same purchase, Safeway only gets $19 for those same groceries, and WE get the other dollar! This program lets the dollars that families ALREADY SPEND work for our school.
The SCRIP Menu shows the current list of our participating retailers and the percentage of profit the school earns from them. (This is a PDF file and requires Adobe Acrobat Reader. If your computer does have this program, you can download it for free here!)
