SPLASH AUCTION (St. Philomena: Leadership, Action, Scholarship, Heritage)
One of the school’s two major fundraisers and friend-raisers is the SPLASH auction. It is a dinner gala with a silent and oral auction dedicated to support the full mission of the school held in the spring. An incredible team of volunteers work throughout the year to create a powerful evening celebrating and financing support the gift of Catholic education.
Please join us on Saturday, March 24, 2012 at the SeaTac Hilton Hotel for "A Knight for our Kids". Our amazing auction chairs: Bob and Stacy Ludington and Jennifer Garcia are busy planning this event with a goal to raise more money than we have ever done in the past. Our procurement chair, Melissa Tarabochia is hard at work procuring items!! This is a community effort and we need everyone's help.Get the word out to family, friends and neighbors. Help us procure items for the auction and lets make this the biggest and best SPLASH Auction ever.

2011 Paddle Raise
The Paddle Raise at the 2011 SPLASH Auction was to transform one of our classrooms into an inquiry-based science classroom. Thanks to many, many generous donations we were able to raise over $32,000! The new science classroom at St. Philomena School is top of the line. The room is outfitted with science tables, digital microscopes and interactive mobi pads that put science into the hands of our middle school students. Additionally over $5,000 of new science materials were purchased to provide the students with the best hands-on materials a scientist could ever want! Thanks to a wonderful additional donation St. Philomena School was also able to purchase additional Foss Kits to supplement our overall science curriculum, which is aligned with current Washington State Standards. 2011-2012 St. Philomena School Family SPLASH Auction Commitments
SPLASH Auction:
Each family must procure an item(s) worth a value of $250.00 or buy-out at the cost of $300.00 by November 30th. As of December 1st, buy-outs will be $350.00. Final buy-outs must be paid by Jan. 31st.
SPLASH Ticket Policy
One SPLASH Auction ticket will be assessed to each school family. Families can volunteer the evening of SPLASH to forgo this assessment and the hours will count toward the annual volunteering commitment. PEP Club leadership will decide which strategic SPLASH volunteer positions will be exempt. This ticket can be used or gifted back as a way to support this major fundraiser.
