Admission Policies
Registration for new families will begin during Catholic Schools Week typically in late January/early February.
A child must meet the following age requirements for admission:
- Kindergarten: The child must be 5 years old by August 31 of the current school year.
- Pre-Kindergarten: The child must be 4 years old by August 31 of the current school year.
No exceptions will be made to these entrance requirements.
All students seeking admission to St. Philomena School must complete an entrance assessment prior to placement. This test is typically administered in mid-February. Following the assessment, families will be notified in writing regarding their admission status.
Admission of Non-Catholic Students
Non-Catholic students shall be considered integral members of the student body, expected and required to participate in all aspects of the school program.
Admission of International Students
International students who are not permanent residents of the United States will be admitted in accordance with the requirements of the United States Department of State and/or the United States Department of Homeland Security. Any foreign student who is not a permanent resident of the United States who desires to enroll in St. Philomena School must have complete legal documentation required by the United States government in order to do so.
