Hot Lunch

HOT LUNCH PROGRAM

St. Philomena School is blessed to have an excellent hot lunch program thanks to wonderful, committed and dedicated volunteers. The hot lunch program is a five-day a week lunch available to all students on a pre-paid basis. Hot lunch usually begins in September and runs through the month of June. Volunteers are crucial to make this special service available so please consider sharing your time and talent in this area. Hot lunch volunteers must have a food handler's card issued through King County. Please visit the King County Health Department website,  to obtain information about the food handler's card.

2025-2026 School Year

Five Days-a-Week Payment options: The cost of lunch is $636.00 per student ($4.00 per lunch for 159 lunches)

  • One payment for the entire year @ $604.00 due on September 13, 2025 (This reflects a 5% discount for paying in full)
  • Three installment payments @ $212.00 each on September 12, 2025, December 12, 2025 and February 20, 2026.
  • Monthly payments of $71.00 a month from September through May (9 months).
 

Three Days-a-Week Payment options: The cost of lunch is $368.00 per student ($4.00 per lunch for 92 lunches). Students receive lunch on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

  • One payment for the entire year @ $350.00 due on September 13, 2025,  (This reflects a 5% discount for paying in full)
  • Three installment payments @ $123.00 each on September 12, 2025, December 12, 2025 and February 20, 2026.
  • Monthly payments of $41.00 a month from September through May (9 months).
 

Two Days-a-Week Payment options: The cost of Lunch is $284.00 per student ($4.00 per lunch for 71 lunches). Students receive lunch on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

  • One payment for the entire year @ $270.00 due on September 13, 2025 (This reflects a 5% discount for paying in full)
  • Three installment payments @ $95.00 each on September 13, 2025, December 12, 2025 and February 20, 2026.
  • Monthly payments of $32.00 a month from September through May (9 months).
 
Lunch will be offered September 2, 2025 through June 9, 2026. There are no discounts or refunds offered for days a student is not in attendance; this includes illness, vacations, field trips, and when school is closed due to inclement weather. The Hot Lunch menu will be published monthly beginning in late August. Please keep in handy to refer to for menus of the day, as well as the dates lunch is offered. It is important to note that hot lunch is not available on days with noon dismissals or on late arrivals due to inclement weather. Lunch consists of a hot entrée item, several nutritious side dishes and dessert. Milk is not included with hot lunch; however, chocolate or white milk is available daily for a one-time payment of $40.00 per child.
