SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITY FOR STUDENTS IN GRADES 4 THROUGH 7
The Robert Ruth Memorial $500 Scholarships for St. Philomena student athletes are awarded each June to qualified and deserving students in grades 4 through 7 whose families have a financial need. This scholarship program was established in 2017 in honor and memory of Mr. Ruth who passed away in 2015. He was a St. Phil's parent, volunteer, board member, and CYO coach, the father or St. Phil's alums Briana Ruth Mueller and Aleah Ruth Hinton, and the husband of long-time St. Phil's teacher and administrator, Mrs. Mary Ruth Rader. The family and friends of Robert invite you to honor his memory, love of sports, and dedication to Catholic education by encouraging your child to apply by filling out the application attached to this newsletter and submitting it by email to [email protected] by no later than Thursday, May 21. The scholarship recipients will be honored at the Awards Assembly in June. Thank you for your interest and good luck to all applicants!
