Holy Week

We will soon be ending our Lenten journey and celebrating Easter. This Sunday, April 13th is Palm Sunday. St. Philomena Parish will be holding normal Mass times: Sat., at 5:30 PM, Sundays at 8:30 AM, 10:30 AM and 5:30 PM. Next week we begin Holy Week. We will be doing a special prayer over the intercom on Monday, Tuesday. Wednesday and Thursday of next week to recognize the importance of Holy Week. On Holy Thursday, in keeping with our St. Philomena School tradition all class will be participating in the Seder Meal with their classrooms. On Friday, April 18th the 8th graders will be once again presenting the Stations of the Cross at 10:45 AM for the school community.
The schedule for Holy Week for St. Philomena Parish is:
- 4/17: Holy Thursday: Morning Prayer at 7:30 AM, and Mass of the Lord’s Supper (Bilingual) at 7:00 PM.
- 4/18: Good Friday: Morning Prayer and Divine Mercy Chaplet at 7:30 AM, and Veneration of the Cross at 3:00 PM (English) and 7:00 PM (Spanish).
- 4/19: Holy Saturday: Morning Prayer and Divine Mercy Chaplet at 8:00 AM, Rehearsal at 10:00 AM, and Easter Vigil at 7:00 PM (Bilingual).
