Spirit Week
DATE: 5/27/14 - 5/30/14
Spirit Week starts on Tues., May 27th and goes through Fri., May 30th.
Tues., May 27th “Disney Character Day and Principal of the Day- Principal Ella DeVito”
· Students can wear t-shirts/sweatshirts with Disney characters on them; they can also dress up as one of their favorite Disney character. Principal of the day, Ella DeVito will be handing out special prizes to the student in each class that embodies the best Disney character.
· We will be playing Bingo at 2:15 PM in the hall
Wednesday, May 28th: “Superhero Day”
· Students can wear t-shirts/sweatshirts with superhero characters on them; they can also dress up as one of their favorite superhero.
· The 4th grade students will be selling root beer floats at lunch for $1.00 a piece; all proceeds go to our sister school in Guatemala.
Thursday, May 29th: “Throwback Thursday-Decade Day”
· Students can dress up as someone from their favorite decade. Will they rock the 50’s, style like the 60’s, be groovy like the 70’s or punk out from the 80’s, it is their choice!! We will have prizes for the most creative costumes!
· Please join us at 1:15 PM for our annual Spelling Bee in the parish hall.
Friday, May 30th : Get Your Color On Day”
· Each grade is assigned a different color, students are asked to dress up in their grades’ color; students can even dye their hair their grade color, but please do not use permanent dye.
PreK- orange Kindergarten- blue 1st- green 2nd- purple 3rd- yellow
4th- silver/gold 5th- black 6th- red 7th- white 8th- pink
· Ice Cream at 2:15 PM outside
