Administrative Staff

Dr. Steve Morissette - Principal

Welcome to St. Philomena School. I am very excited to be the principal of this amazing school. I have been at St. Phil's since July 2010. I am originally from Holyoke, Massachusetts. I attended Holyoke Catholic High School and earned a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from Westfield State College in Westfield, MA. I have been living in Washington since 1990. I started my teaching career at St. Vincent de Paul School in Federal Way, WA. I earned a Master's in Administration Education from Pacific Lutheran University in 1994 and became Vice-Principal at St. Vincent's in 1995. My first principal job was in 1998 at Holy Family School in White Center, WA. It was a wonderful experience and really help me develop a great foundation for my administrative skills. I was at Holy Family for seven years. In 2005, I became principal at All Saint's School in Puyallup and Fife, WA. Both my sons graduated from All Saints. I spent five years at All Saints and made some life-long friends. I earned a Doctorate in EdD Leadership in August 2014.

I live in Fife, WA with my two playful cats, Bronx and Brooklyn. I have two sons, Sam (27) who is married to his wife Ashley and works at St. Phil's. I also have another son Austin (23) who graduated from WSU in May 2018 and is now a civil engineer in Vancouver, WA. I am a huge sports fan and love the New York Yankees, Dallas Cowboys and New England Patriots. I am also a huge Tom Brady fan. I love all types of music, love to read and love walking.

Teri is married to her high school sweetheart, Patrick, and they are the proud parents of Jordan (19) and Dylan (15). Teri loves teaching all subjects but religion, science and math are her favorites. When asked what she loves about her job she said, “I love watching the students grow in their faith, explore and make discoveries that surprise them and excite them about learning!”

Chris Korzeniecki- Admin. Assist.

Mrs. Korzeniecki has been working at St. Phil’s for 14 years but was a parent for over 20. Chris and her husband, Walter, have four boys: Jake, Matt, Nathan and Ian and they all graduated from St. Philomena. Now her four grand kids are attending St. Philomena. Bailey (8), she is in third grade this year. Easton (7), is in first grade, Colton (5), and Kennedy (4), both in Kindergarten. Let the fun begin!

When she isn't helping every child, parent, and teacher in the building, she can be found traveling, cooking, reading or taking her kayak out for a relaxing float. When asked what her favorite part of her job is, she replied, “the kids.”
